Mission Statement

Music is such a joy that I love bringing to students. Music helps us become better listeners, thinkers, and creators. I hope to instill a life long love of music in the students I teach!

Educational Background

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Voice and Piano from UNL, a Bachelor of Music Education from UNO, and a Masters of Science from Creighton University in English as a Second Language

Fun Fact

I have been singing with Opera Omaha for over 20 years! I’ve also been in rock bands and studied music in India

Role Model/Superhero

John Coltrane, a jazz saxophonist, is one of my heroes. He overcame many challenges in his personal life to become a successful musician. Come see his picture in my room and ask me to play his music!

When I’m not at school I’m usually

Hanging with my family doing something adventurous!
