Chandler View

What is PTO?
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization.  This is a group of parents and teachers working together to enhance your child's learning experience at Chandler View.

What does PTO do for the children at Chandler View?

The PTO is always working to provide for our children and teachers.  Here are some ways your PTO dollars are at work.

•  Sponsors Family Movie Nights, Carnival, and Chili Feed.

•  Purchase recess equipment for classrooms.

•  Provide medals for our after school sports teams.

•  Provide a number of incentives for our students.
•  PTO provides treats for two school wide parties each year.

•  Sponsors the following yearly events:
Classroom fieldtrips
Sixth grade picnic
Dare graduation
Sixth grade graduation

• Host bi-annual book fairs which provides more books for classrooms and our library.

How can I join PTO and help my school?

Membership is only $2.00 per person.  Please take the 2 Power Hour pledge.  Many hands make light work.  We are asking for two hours of your time this year.  Maybe you can help hand out pizza or run a booth at the carnival.

How does PTO acquire the necessary funds to sponsor so many projects?

Every month the PTO organizes family outings at Skate City and Don & Millie's.  Both are located in Bellevue and a percentage of the evenings sales go to help support our school.

We also collect Box Tops for Education.  They are located on the packages of General Mills products.  Look for the symbol below and send them to school with your child.  There is a collection container in each classroom.
