August 12, 2019

Here is it is....time for Back to School Night!  I am so excited to meet the new faces in the classroom.  The first day of school is August 14. I know it is hard to believe but teachers get just as anxious as the students.  I love providing meaningful projects for students to collaborate on.  I believe that teamwork makes the dream work.  My favorite subject to teach is science and reading.  In school, math was my least favorite subject of all.  I try to make math fun by incorporating games and activities into the lessons.

I am a very passionate person who does everything with all my heart.  I enjoying teaching and creating lessons that challenge students and I love to see them smile.  When I am not at school, I am hanging out with my husband and animals.  My husband is also in education.  We live in a small town, Herman, and raise farm animals.  We have cattle, chickens, ducks, goats, and two spoiled cats.  I have three grown children, Beth, Andrew, and Katie.  I have an amazing grandson, Blake, who enjoys riding around on anything with wheels!

Our classroom motto:  Mistakes are proof that you are trying.

There are three ways to get ahold of me:  1) Class Dojo, 2) email, or 3) call the Chandler View office 531-299-1220

Thanks for checking in!
