Cattle Words

By-Product- any part of the animal that is not harvested for meat

Bull-  A male, cattle that can have calves

Steer- A male cattle, that cannot have calves

Cow-A female, that has had at least one child

Calf-a baby, that is less than one year

Yearling- a calf that is about a year old

Ruminant-an even toed animal that chews cud

Thank you so much for being patient in this new chapter.  I feel like we are in a science fiction novel.  I want all of you to know that I miss all the kiddos, their smiles, their stories, and most of all their laughs. I will post daily activities on Class Dojo as well as links to websites that have videos.  I am receptive to feedback.  I will continue to update this page so you can see where units are headed.
